CBSR · research with explicit boundaries
CBSR AgenticFi Policy Infrastructure | CBSR research summary
The institutional technical whitepaper on versioned, citable and time-aware policy evidence for autonomous finance, with explicit human responsibility and execution boundaries.
Problem and evidence model
Financial agents can combine an action and machine-readable rules quickly, but speed does not transfer responsibility to a dataset. The paper separates legal force, provenance, freshness, uncertainty, human review and execution authority. In the release snapshot, 152 records span twelve jurisdictions and none meets the complete decision-ready gate.
Control architecture
The described architecture combines a versioned mandate, explicit evidence, deterministic evaluation and receipts containing rule IDs and freshness. Outcomes distinguish allow, conditional allow, review required, prohibited and insufficient evidence. Every CBSR result retains execution_authorized=false; a human-approval condition is not an approval event.
Empirical results and limits
The paper reports a census of one committed snapshot: 103 official-source and 49 unavailable-source records; freshness is 38 stale and 114 unknown. These counts do not measure legal-compliance rates or causal impact. Unsigned receipt hashes expose mutation but authenticate no signer; independent second review, security review and deployment-specific controls remain separate work.
