How CBSR connects agent actions to evidence and receipts
Follow an action through mandate scope, explicit rule evidence, deterministic policy evaluation and unsigned audit receipts without confusing support with execution authority.
Start with the action and mandate
The v0.11 model accepts an action and a time-bounded mandate that identifies scope such as assets, jurisdictions, counterparties, amounts and human-review conditions. Evidence cannot extend a revoked mandate or authorise a jurisdiction outside its scope. The named principal and agent identity remain assertions unless authenticated by the surrounding system.
Carry exact evidence into the decision
An evaluation identifies applicable records, source locators, binding status, effective windows, freshness and uncertainty. Missing evidence can return insufficient_evidence; stale, unknown, proposed, transitional or conflicting evidence can require review. The packaged watch capability inspects snapshot change and review state, not a live regulator feed.
Audit the result without inventing approval
The receipt retains action, decision, rule IDs, versioned engine context and digests. Canonical hashes can reveal mutation, but an unsigned receipt does not prove who signed or approved anything. CBSR retains execution_authorized=false. Authentication, actual human approvals, payment execution and production accountability require their own evidence and controls.
